What constitutes a contract to be rendered "void" by statute law?

What is the difference between "misrepresentation" and "negligent statements"?

A contract can only be rendered "void" if both parties agree to cancel it, or if there is fraud on the part of one or both of the parties.

Misrepresentation is lying. "Negligent statements" is failing to include all the facts. Especially omitting facts that might cause the other party to not agree to contract.
