VII. SABBATH IN THE NEW TESTAMENT

MATTHEW 12:
8 "For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day."

HEBREWS 4:
4 "For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works."

MATTHEW 28:
1 "IN the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre."

NOTE:
Notice above that the Lord does have a day, the Sabbath day. The word "Sabbath" means "rest" and the seventh day is the rest day. The Sabbath day is the day that comes just before the first day of the week.
